We hired GD Contracting services to complete a renovation to our kitchen and master ensuite. We would definitely recommend GD Contracting.  From the start, Gil was very organized and his quote was specific, itemized and uncomplicated. He was easy to get a hold of, and was on time for all of our meetings. Once the work started, Tony, Dave the rest of the team were on time, and managed to keep the house clean so my husband could live in it while the reno’s were being completed. They were friendly and approachable as new developments arose. Any changes we had were discussed were agreed upon ahead of time. We managed to stay within budget and the work was completed within our timeline. The finished project turned out amazing and we are very happy with the quality of work. I can't thank you guys enough. We love your work and everyone who comes in wants to know who did it. We have referred you to 4 people already (I hope that's ok...). Good Morning Gil and Tony.  I wanted to let you know how happy we are with the repair work you did on our bay window!  We have had NO water pooling! In July 2010 we underwent a massive renovation and addition in/to our home. We considered many contractors prior to picking GD Contracting. Initially they impressed us with their thorough estimate and the contract that they provided. As a big fan of Mike Holmes I was aware of the importance of documentation and what to be wary of with contractors. Not only were they very professional and knowledgeable but they were helpful with architectural design suggestions. Throughout the process they stayed in constant communication with us in regards to budget and any issues they came across. They assigned a working site supervisor whom was at our location daily. The addition is beautiful! We have since referred them to anyone whom we run across who is considering hiring a contractor. Our addition was approximately 1400 sq. ft; we also gutted and renovated the rest of the existing house (another 1400 sq ft.)With the exception of two rooms. They were able to see it through to completion in 4 months (3.5 months of which we were out of our home). They were fantastic! It is hard to find contractors you can trust and rely upon to stand by their work these days. Even over a year after completion I know I can count on them to fix any issues that may occur. Thank you Gil, Dave and Tony it was an absolute pleasure!

I have a story to share with you about my son.  Saturday evening he started playing with his black & deck tool set during which he announced that he is Tony and is fixing the basement.  He then told me I am Dave and he had me help him.  It was so sweet.  It looks like him seeing firsthand what you were building helped me understand what it actually looked like and how to use some of the tools.

In 2010, my husband and I decided to extensively renovate our home. After much due diligence we decided to put our faith in GD Contracting. Gil and Dave Daponte came highly referred and exceeded our expectations. In the beginning, when we discussed our budget we didn't have enough money to complete absolutely everything on our wish list. However, when Gil sat down with us to discuss what he would be quoting he made numerous recommendations that created much needed savings.  He broke the reno's up into 2 phases so that the majority of the work could be completed. It gave us confidence that we would not have any repeated expenses for the next phase. His quote was exceptionally thorough and detailed. Each category i.e. plumbing was broken down into specifics giving us a very clear idea where the money was going. From demolition to the last touch ups I found Dave and his crew were professional and easy to work with. Dave made himself available to me to answer questions and address any concerns I had. Our renovations came in on budget and just slightly over of our move in date. A year after our reno's Dave came back to repair any building settlement. I will happily recommend GD Contracting and expect to continue to utilize Gil and Dave for other projects.
